“I have just three things to teach: simplicity, patience, compassion.  These three are your greatest teachers.”

– Lao Tzu

Simplicity

For me, there is a big connection between simplicity and movement.  Simplicity allows for space, and space allows for freedom of movement.  Space allows us to keep the big picture in mind and not lose sight of it.  Movement allows the transition from unnecessarily complex and messy to simple and more clear.
A simple foundation can be built solid, then layers of complexity can be added with a lot of room for growth and expansion.  This foundation can work as a system of checks and balances in life.  It will be honest with you and tell you if you’re becoming the servant of things that are not worthy of blindly serving.
So, let’s keep things simple, lets engage this system of checks and balances and not numb it, it’s our compass in life.
