Investigative Work

When a solid timeline is in place, we will move on to investigation, performing necessary physical exams and lab tests to better understand your case.  The information gleaned from your story, physical exam, forms, questionnaires in addition to test results will paint a complete picture of the potential root causes of your case.
Laboratory tests that are often performed include:
  • Overall health: Blood markers evaluating basic physiological and biochemical processes
  • Hormonal health: Key components of the endocrine system like stress hormones, sex hormones as well as thyroid hormone
  • Cardiometabolic health: Comprehensive assessment of inflammation, cardiovascular risk and metabolic disease (diabetes, metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance)
  • Gastrointestinal health: Evaluation of the gastrointestinal microbiome, stool analysis and testing for intestinal permeability
  • Others: Specialty tests including food sensitivity testing and comprehensive nutritional analysis
