Regenerative Medicine

We need to move.  Consistent movement practices are crucial to our brain development and longevity.  However, what stops us at times is pain.  Pain can change us — it can be debilitating and prevent us from moving freely through our world.
My goal is to help you get out of pain in the least harmful manner.  And that’s where regenerative medicine comes in.  Although there are multiple forms of regenerative injections, I focus on two that are amazingly effective: prolotherapy and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatments.  Prolotherapy introduces a chemical or mechanical irritation, like the substance dextrose, into the joint ligaments and tendonous attachments that are weakened by traumatic or over-use injuries.  This process stimulates the body’s healing response and strengthens the joints.  PRP has an increased concentration of platelets which accelerates the process of wound healing and activates tissue repair and regeneration.  Both natural treatments can speed healing, reduce acute and chronic pain and prevent the need for surgery.

Let’s not forget that movement itself is medicine.
